Brian Lorente Kicks off Ribfest 2016 Thursday Night
Brian Lorente, with that name comes an entertainer whom over the years of performing, writing and studying his craft brings a show like no other. One of the hardest working individuals you will ever meet, Lorente’s never-quit pace has moved him from solo acoustic shows to one of the premier National Recording Acts in the Midwest. Backed by an incredible stack of talent in his band, the Usual Suspects, his list of major artists he continues to share the stage with is never ending. Artists such as Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gretchen Wilson just to name a few from the long list of artists Brian Lorente and the Usual Suspects have shared the stage with. Playing wherever the music takes him, major market concerts like Faster Horses Music Festival, The B93 Birthday Bash to The Detroit Hoedown, to the home grown fairs and festivals throughout the region and of course every honky-tonk, club and venue that he can put five guys on a stage on the music and show goes on!
Riding the wave from his last release 2:45, a strong mix of hard hitting country rock grooves to slow love songs that makes crowds of all ages stop and sing along. The album’s most popular track, Stay with Me Tonight, has received industry and radio praise but more importantly fan praise as the song that everyone wants to hear at every show. Whether it’s the song of love never getting away or the title track 2:45, the song about “cowboying up,” and facing those fears, this third studio album from Lorente has everything a modern country fan is looking for.
Lorente’s simple promise to his fans that travel out to see his shows, to always make sure they leave a show entertained and satisfied they got their money’s worth.
“When I step on the stage I come alive,” Lorente says. “There is nothing better in the world than performing music you love, doing what you love and making people happy with what you do.”
Lorente is hard at work on his next studio album due out late 2016. In the meantime catch him and the Usual Suspects on the road wherever they may be.
